Freak the Mighty

    Have you ever wanted to read a book about different quests and adventures? Well, if you are craving action, quests, adventures, and learning new words that you probably never heard of, then I would suggest the book Freak the Mighty by Rodman Philbrick. This book is filled with families, friendships, heart-warming stories, and wild imaginations. The two main characters, Freak, a.k.a. Kevin, and Max go on quests that are real but are partially made up of Freak's remarkably knight-like imagination. The events in this story can really happen such as returning somebody's stolen purse, being kidnapped, and having a birth defect. Freak the Mighty is a good book to read because it is filled with adventures and quests, it has a good story line that is easy to follow, and it is an interesting story.

   

     Freak the Mighty is a good book to read because it is filled with adventures and quests. Freak and Max go on adventures and quests such as returning a lady named Loretta Lee's purse that was stolen by Tony D., a.k.a. Blade, and his gang. Freak went on a quest when he went to rescue Max from where Kenny Kane, Max's father, had kidnapped him and tied him up with rope. It turns out that Freak wasn't the only person who set out to rescue Max. Loretta Lee and her husband, Iggy Lee who was also a "friend of Kenny's" also had a sneaky plan to help Max escape. Freak the Mighty is a good book to read because it is filled with adventures and quests.

   Freak the Mighty is a good book to read because it has a good story line that is easy to follow. In the book, Freak and Max, who knew each other from daycare, go on adventures that usually get them in trouble and/or danger. The part of the book that I liked best was when Freak went to save Max. That proves that Freak was a great friend and he cared about Max. Freak the Mighty is a good book to read because it has a good story line that is easy to follow.

    Freak the Mighty is a good book to read because it is an interesting story. In the book, the story is narrated by Max. At the end of the book, you will realize that Freak gave Max an empty book and Max was writing in it throughout the story. The book was his story. Freak the Mighty is a good book to read because it is an interesting story.

    I would recommend this book to my friends because it is a really good book. The character that I connect with the most would be Loretta because I'm sneaky. Loretta is sneaky because she tried to help Max escape without making it obvious. Freak the Mighty is a fantastic read.
